quality of life for all. We will accomplish this through education, advocacy
and science.

Our Goals and Objectives
Goal:To invoke
the protection of environmental laws to defend the earth where destructive
developments
cause unacceptable ecological damage to habitats, species, water and air
quality. Examples of environmental laws are: the Endangered Species Act, (ESA)
the Clean Water Act, the Porter Cologne Act, the California Environmental
Quality Act (CEQA), and National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA).
Objective: Make
legal comments on projects
Objective: Hire experts where necessary
Objective: Attend public comment periods held
by lead agencies on projects
Goal: Conservation of critical habitats.
Objective: Provide alternative projects to the
destructive project proposed.
Objective: Work with the public to achieve
conservation where feasible.
Goal: Spread our message globally through all media outlets
available.
Objective: Work with the public via letters to
the editor & interviews.
Goal: Reduce the threat of global warming and climate change locally. Objective: Protect, enhance and restore natural resources such as,
riparian zones, wetlands and marshlands, that help cool landscapes and act
has buffers to excessive water and increased velocities that will come with
climate change. Objective:Prevent permanent loss of wildlands such as timberlands, oak woodlands, wetlands, riparian and chaparral

the waters of the State Objective: use water laws to prevent pollution Objective: advocate for clean
water through written comments to lead agencies on projects that may cause
